Carrie Underwood Has It All, Beauty, Brains and Benevolence.
Carrie Marie Underwood has been turning heads for the last 5 years and that is not just because she is very beautiful. After winning Season 4 of American Idol, in 2005, Carrie started her rapid rise to the top and not only hasn't she started slowing down, she has begun to break records and set new ones. She has now soared so high that she broke the "Glass Ceiling" at the 2010 ACM Awards, this year, and by winning the ACM's "Entertainer Of The Year" for the second time, she has become the first Female Singer to achieve this . That's right, no other Female Artist has ever won it twice.
Not only has Carrie made history with her 3, #1 Albums , 12 #1 singles and 60+ Awards, she has also made history by being the First Female Country Singer to Achieve certain things.
Reba McEntire also presented Carrie with the "Triple Crown" at the 2010 ACM's Awards and while Carrie is not the first to receive the Triple Crown, it's worth mentioning that relatively few Artists have won this Highly Esteemed Award and the winners now include Carrie Underwood, Barbara Mandrell, Mickey Gilley, Merle Haggard, The Dixie Chicks, Brooks & Dunn and Kenny Chesney. This award was presented, to Carrie, for winning all three of the required ACM Awards, "Top New Female Vocalist (2006)" "Top Female Vocalist (2007, 08, 09)" and "Entertainer Of The Year (2009-10)". Anyone winning all three awards, at least once, are awarded the "Triple Crown".
